After the team are reunited, Jack ends up realising that he is now the most vulnerable person on the planet. A trip to America by plane ends up turning into a desperate battle to stay alive. The Torchwood team find themselves on the run and end up discovering a new enemy. As they attempt to launch a raid on PhiCorp headquarters, Jack has to confront Oswald Danes.

The team travel to California, where a trap is waiting as they continue their fight against PhiCorp. Oswald and Jilly have to face an enemy of their own, Torchwood goes undercover and discovers the terrible truth behind the Miracle. The enemy is closing in, and death is about to make a shocking return. With Gwen, Rex and Esther trapped on both sides of the Atlantic, it's a race against time as Jack goes straight to the heart of the conspiracy.

Gwen must fight to protect her family and takes a terrifying journey, covering both miles and decades, as the long history of the Miracle is revealed. Jack faces a showdown with a man he thought was long since dead. But while Rex takes extreme action, is it too late to prevent the collapse of society?

Meanwhile, all but one member of the unit receive a civil-suit subpoena as suspicions and tensions begin to grow within the squad.The family of a prominent minister could find itself in big trouble while also trying to protect the church, as the squad looks into the crime. Major crimes could find itself in an interesting situation after someone doesn't get a subpoena, leaving everyone on the squad wondering who and why that person didn't get the subpoena to question what might happen next. Brenda springs into investigative action when a body is found at a home-construction site. Meanwhile, Brenda considers turning to a lawyer, but the pricey retainer fee means Fritz will likely have to sacrifice certain luxuries.

Brenda's team looks into whether an officer had anything to do with her daughter's death, as the audit into the lawsuit against Brenda continues Captain Raydor looks into whether detective Sanchez can provide anything else about the death of Turell Baylor, The team investigates the puzzling death of a fellow officer's daughter. Elsewhere, Capt. Raydor advances in her meticulous audit of Brenda's unit and begins to sharpen focus on Det. Sanchez.

Nancy has a run-in with an old acquaintance and Silas gets caught in the crossfire, Andy engages in a new business enterprise that requires Doug and Shane's assistance. Nancy's attempt to rekindle her business with Heylia doesn't go well. In the meantime, Andy introduces a new idea of venture to Shane and Doug.

Now story: While Doug plays softball with the company team, Nancy deals pot on the sidelines, Andy opens his bike shop while Silas sells pot out of the back room and a police detective offers Shane an internship. Nancy uses Doug's softball game with the company team to sell weed on the sidelines. In the meantime, Andy and Silas open their bike and weed shop.

Meanwhile, Hanna gets a surprising look into Caleb's life after his shady foster mother surfaces.

On the eve of the Rosewood Charity Fashion Show, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are surprised with Jessica DiLaurentis' return to town and her request that they participate in the show on Alison's behalf. Aria takes up the opportunity to try and help jog Jason's memory of the night Ali disappeared, as Hanna starts to get her hopes up that her father's attendance may mean more than he's letting on. Spencer, on the other hand, quickly learns that, while she has been dealing with larger issues, Mona has stepped in and taken charge of running the event. As the charity event gets closer, walking down a runway in a fancy gown may not seem that hard, but nothing is ever easy for four pretty little liars.

Its moving day for Emily, and with a new place to call home, she is feeling more like a guest than part of the family. Hanna is also feeling uneasy, but for her it is in regard to Caleb's continued shady "business" dealings and his nonchalant attitude about it. And when Toby makes a surprising discovery, Spencer is thrown for a loop by the find and her father's reaction to it. With the girls already on edge, could they be sitting targets for "A's" next move? Or does "A" have bigger plans for the four and is just making them wait? Meanwhile, Aria is put in a tricky position when both Ezra and Jason are invited to the Montgomery dinner party and vie for her attention when the soiree goes awry. But with the prospect of having to come clean to her father about Danby, Emily realizes she has bigger problems when "A" reveals his/her part in Emily's swim career. While visiting Emily, Spencer and Aria take the opportunity to try and do more digging around about the cause of Alison's death and how the broken field hockey stick may play a part in the last few moments of their friend's life. Meanwhile, Hanna struggles with the prospect of losing both men in her life when her father's wedding "Save the Date" arrives, and the possibility of Caleb running out of Rosewood before his past can come back to haunt him. Mounting tension takes its toll on Emily, who winds up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Spencer and Aria try to link a broken field-hockey stick to Alison's demise and Hanna deals with her dad's impending wedding and Caleb's possible departure.
